Harcom Corporation's president, Dan Harris, has been in the telecommunications business since 1996, as a provider of enhanced, remote telephone solutions for home offices, small businesses, major corporations and mobile individuals. His background is in advertising and marketing of technology based products and services.
He entered into his own business in 1971, as an Advertising Agency, after spending 10 years in both advertising and marketing with other companies. In 1976, his company turned to publishing when he purchased a trade magazine in the Building Mainenance field from one of his advertising clients.

In 1985, he developed a trade show for the Building Maintenance industry, in conjuction with his magazine. In 1995, he sold his publishing and trade show business to a New York publishing company and retired, but wasn't ready to be inactive, so he retained his corporation.
In 1996, he became associated with FreedomVOICE Systems, which was just entering into the telecommunications business, as a joint venture with a British Telecom Company. Within a couple of years, the U.S.founder of FreedomVOICE bought out the British interests and the firm is now fully U.S. owned.

FreedomVOICE Systems has been a high tech innovator and service provider of sophisticated telecommunications tools since first entering into business. Its services range from simple 800 number, toll-free voice mail to highly sophisticated IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems that are "systems integrated" with its thousands of customers.

FreedomVOICE Systems has a highly experience in-house team of software developers that have produced all of their own software for their telecommunications solutions, which provides a highly flexible capability that lets FreedomVOICE easily customize systems and develop specialized applications to meet virtually every type of customer requirement. Its Technical Support Deparment is highly recognized for its dedicated customer service.
Services include Toll-Free Voice Mail, Virtual Office, Unified Messaging, Web Enabled Virtual PBX and integrated IVR. FVS operates a state-of-the-art Nationwide Telephone Call Center in Encinitas, California with customers thoughout the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, and numerous other countries of the world. It has virtually unlimited bandwidth for its network going through dual OC 196 piplines to the nationwide telephone backbone. All system are redundant, with full battery backup to insure complete security of all operations with virtually 99.9% uptime.
Harcom Corporation is a sales arm for FreedomVOICE Systems, and the two companies have worked together since FVS was originally formed in 1996. Harcom's FreedomVOICE customers range from home-based businesses to Fortune 500 corporations, as well as individuals and residental user.
